The Role Permissions Manager feature is designed to centralize and automate business records, enforce data validation, and provide real-time reporting for operations in Setting Up & Configuration. In TechoERP, all transactions and masters are built on top of audit-trail-enabled DocTypes ensuring transparency, security, and compliance.
2. Key Capabilities & Highlights
- Automated Workflows: Built-in draft, approval, submission, and cancellation cycles with automated notifications.
- Role-Based Access: Granular read, write, create, submit, and cancel permissions managed through the Role Permission Manager.
- Custom Fields & Extensibility: Easily extend fields, custom scripts, and print formats without touching core code.

3. Step-by-Step Configuration & Usage
- Navigate to Module: In the TechoERP awesome search bar (
Ctrl + KorCmd + K), type Role Permissions Manager or navigate via the Setting Up & Configuration workspace. - Create New Record: Click the Add Role Permissions Manager button to open the form in draft state.
- Fill Required Information: Complete the mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*). Verify dates, linked master records, currency, and financial dimensions.
- Save as Draft: Click Save to store the record in
Draftstate. You can attach supporting documents, notes, and tags. - Submit & Validate: Once verified, click Submit to commit the document. Submitting locks the record against accidental modifications and triggers downstream ledgers and notifications.
