Overview
The Role Permission Manager in TechoERP provides a visual, matrix-based security center to assign document-level and field-level permissions for any DocType (e.g. Sales Invoice, Customer, Journal Entry) according to assigned user Roles.
Permission Levels & Actions
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Read | Allows users with the role to view existing records. |
| Write | Grants edit access to un-submitted draft documents. |
| Create | Permits creation of brand new records. |
| Submit / Cancel / Amend | Grants authority to lock accounting entries, reverse submitted transactions, or amend revisions. |
| Perm Level (Field Security) | Restricts sensitive fields (e.g. gross margin, cost prices, bank account numbers) to elevated management roles. |
